An elderly North Hills couple has been robbed of millions of dollars and police have charged their daughter with the rip-off.
Nassau County police say Terri Kornicki financially exploited her parents of about $3 million over the past seven years. Kornicki?s mother has Alzheimer?s disease and is bed-ridden, while her 86-year-old father is in ailing health.
Kornicki?s attorney says she has been the primary caregiver and the money was lost in the stock market. The judge has ordered Kornicki held on $50,000 bond.
