A North Babylon asbestos removal company and a manager has admitted to not paying employees over $80,000, according to the Nassau County District Attorney Anne Donnelly.
BJA Renovations Corp. and company manager Joseph Demasco owed the workers for projects done at the Merrick and Oceanside school districts between 2019 and 2021.
News 12 is told Demasco is expected to be sentenced to up to three years in prison.
