Brentwood man sentenced for attempted murder of ex-wife at McDonald's

A man was found guilty Tuesday of attempted murder in the shooting of an NYPD officer from Hauppauge, according to the Queens district attorney.

Devin Spraggins was convicted of shooting Officer Brett Boller in April 2023.

Boller was responding to a call for a fight on a Queens bus. He had to undergo three lifesaving surgeries after he was shot in his femoral artery.

Spraggins is expected to be sentenced in December.
