Riders are working up a sweat for a great cause today.
The Cycle for Survival event at the Equinox gym in Woodbury is raising money to fight rare cancers.
Every dollar raised is funding rare cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. The effort has raised over $250 million so far.

Cancer survivors are among the participants taking part in today's event, and the News 12 Morning Team is also riding. "Carol's Crew" is riding Sunday morning in support of retired News 12 anchor Carol Silva, who was diagnosed with cancer last year.
