A wheelchair stolen from a Flower Hill man with cerebral palsy has been found.
The custom wheelchair was stolen Saturday from 27-year-old Vinny Pinello. Pinello's wheelchair, which is worth about $17,000, is fully customized to his body and handicap. His health aides say it's an essential part of his battle against cerebral palsy.
A neighbor found the chair and contacted Nassau police, who returned it to Pinello.
Authorities say two 14-year-old suspects stole the chair, took it for a joy ride and posted about it on Facebook. They have since been arrested.
