A Suffolk police cruiser crashed while responding to a call in Farmingville early Sunday morning.
Officers say they received a call about a man passed out in a parking lot on Mooney Pond Road.
Police say the man was intoxicated and became belligerent. A responding officer used a Taser to subdue him, and then called for backup.
An investigator responding to the scene crashed into a fence on South Evergreen Drive.
No other vehicles were involved. The officer was unhurt.
The man who police say was belligerent was not identified.
