A Brentwood man is under arrest after causing a multi-car crash on the Long Island Expressway around midnight Friday, Suffolk Police said.
Misael Merino-Hernandez, 21, was driving eastbound near Exit 50 when his vehicle struck another car, then struck three more as he fled.
Police say one person suffered minor injuries.
Merino-Hernandez is charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs and alcohol.
