A crash between a tractor-trailer and a gas tanker shut down the eastbound Long Island Expressway in western Nassau County.

In video obtained by News 12, the gas tanker can be seen on its side after it collided with the big rig around 1 a.m.

The incident happened eastbound, just west of New Hyde Park Road near Exit 36.

All lanes have now been reopened. They were previously closed near exit 37.

Police say one person suffered a minor injury.
