Cradle of Aviation Museum teaches visitors about recent lunar touchdown

Many local families came to the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City to learn more about Thursday's moon landing.

The first lunar touchdown on the moon's surface in more than 50 years is getting a lot of excitement from local science enthusiasts.

Many local families came to the Cradle of Aviation Museum in Garden City to learn more about Thursday's moon landing.
Museum president Andrew Parton said it is "a great way for kids to get excited about science, the space program, aviation and aerospace."
