More COVID-19 options are set to open soon on Long Island in the coming days, including one at the home of the New York Islanders.
Nassau County Executive Laura Curran says the Nassau Coliseum will open as a mass vaccination site Tuesday, adding another choice for area residents to get the shot.
Curran says people will walk into the lower level of the Coliseum and get vaccinated there.
The Uniondale arena will become the fourth county-run site where people can get the vaccine.
"The governor has just said that folks 50 years and older are going to be eligible starting (Tuesday) so we want to make sure this is running as smoothly as possible," says Curran.

HERE.Curran says more than 32% of people who live in Nassau have gotten their first shot. And Sen. Chuck Schumer recently announced that now through the end of April, the state will be getting more than 1.5 million vaccines every week.
In Suffolk, County Executive Steve Bellone says you'll soon be able to make an appointment to get a COVID-19 vaccine at Hauppauge's Dennison Building.
Officials say more than 25% of Suffolk residents have gotten their first dose of the vaccine.
