A group in Westchester County is getting extra creative to keep performing as the Broadway shutdown was extended to May of next year.
The Cortlandt School of Performing Arts has taken their talent to the virtual stage with videos of them performing.
They performed "As Long as There is Love," from the musical "Mrs. Doubtfire." The school says it got permission to be the first group to perform it aside from the original cast.
Students say they're grateful for the opportunity to practice their singing skills.
The flexible approach to performing comes as theaters struggle to figure out how to function in 2020.
