A Coram woman who admitted to hitting someone with her van has been sentenced to seven years in prison for attempted murder, according to authorities.
Philomena Mistretta pleaded guilty in June to hitting a 63-year-old woman with her minivan after the two got into an argument outside Miracle Plaza in Bellport.
Prosecutors say the victim was dragged by the van and suffered lacerations to her head.
