A Coram man convicted of attempted sex trafficking could face life in prison.
Andrew Frey, 57, was arrested in 2019 after attempting to take a sex worker to a wooded area in Coram.
When she refused, Frey threatened to kill her and attempted to stop her from escaping.
The victim jumped out of the car and suffered injuries to her knee.
A similar incident happened in 2018 with a different woman.
Police found a knife, handgun, handcuffs and other restraint devices in his car.
Frey faces a minimum of 15 years in prison.
