A father and son are facing charges Saturday after a massive drug bust in Coram.
Joseph Fearon and his son, Jasheme, are being arraigned on a slew of drug charges after police say they found 730 grams of crack-cocaine, 318 grams of heroin, 36 grams of oxycodone and $200,000 in cash at the father's home on Avalon Pines Drive.
Authorities say they also found a money counting machine, two digital scales, assorted packing material and five cellphones.
"Both are prior felons," says Acting Suffolk Police Commissioner Timothy Sini. "The father was released from prison in 2015 after doing a stint for a drug felony and was convicted in connection with shooting someone in the head."
Sini says the arrests are part of an intiative targeting drug dealers who sell out of residential homes.
Officials say the street value of the drugs is approximately $60,000.
