A Mastic woman was arrested for allegedly shoplifting and punching a security guard.
Police say Coshonda Vanderhall stole hundreds of dollars worth of items from the JC Penney at Sunrise Mall. According to police, she then punched a guard when she was confronted.
After her arrest, police say they found her 15-month-old son and 10-year-old daughter in her car.
