Police say three 17-year-old boys broke into the closed Kings Park Psychiatric Center on Monday and were stuck inside.
According to Newsday, the door to one of the rooms slammed behind the teens and locked them in.
Officials say one boy used his cell phone to call 911.
The boys were rescued from the asbestos contaminated facility.
The three boys are charged with trespassing.
