A teenager declared herself a Nazi and then attacked a group of Orthodox Jewish girls over the weekend, police said Wednesday.
Eva Adi, 17, a freshman at Nassau Community College, is accused of punching two girls at the corner of Grant Place and Oakland Avenue in Cedarhurst around 2 a.m. Sunday. Police said one girl's nose is fractured. A third girl managed to run away before Adi could hit her, police said.
Police said Adi, whose father is Jewish, told the group she was a Nazi and a skinhead. The group told police they felt uncomfortable, but didn't immediately leave, officials said.
Adi is charged with assault and aggravated harassment. She is being held on $5,000 bond or $2,500 cash bail.
