Police are searching for the hit-and-run driver who they say left a 64-year-old man to die on Motor Parkway.
Lorenzo Fuentes was walking to the bus stop on his way to work around 5 a.m. Sunday, according to Newsday. According to police, the factory worker was hit on Motor Parkway near Highland Road in Central Islip, and died there.
Police believe the car that hit him was a silver metallic, late-model Dodge or Chrysler, and has damage to the front passenger side.
