Students are being extra cautious at SUNY Stony Brook after a series of attacks at the school's campus.Police say there were three attacks at the university in a span of 10 days. The last attack, according to police, took place Tuesday when a man was mugged.Earlier in the week, police say a woman came home to find an unknown man in her room. Officials say the first attack was Oct. 23, when a jogger says she was accosted by a male assailant.Students that spoke with News 12 Long Island said they were concerned over the recent attacks. Among the steps students say they are taking are being sure to walk in groups and making sure doors to their rooms and suites are locked.Anyone with information on the attacks is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800- 220-TIPS.
