Copiague man seriously injured at site of vigil for 2 crash victims

<p>A 20-year-old man from Copiague was seriously injured Wednesday night while trying to visit a vigil for two people killed in a Commack crash.</p>

A 20-year-old man from Copiague was seriously injured Wednesday night while trying to visit a vigil for two people killed in a Commack crash.
Antonio Francisquini and another person were crossing Route 454 when they struck by a vehicle. Francisquini’s mother told News 12 that her son had brain surgery and is in intensive care.
The second person suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.
News 12 reported that Shawn Jenkins, of Bay Shore, and Hector Sanchez, of Brentwood, died when their car slammed into gas pumps shortly after 2 a.m. at the Sunoco station on Jericho Turnpike in Commack.
