The former Suffolk County police sergeant who was convicted of stealing cash from Hispanic drivers pleaded guilty to new charges Friday.
Scott Greene entered the plea to new charges of felony grand larceny and misdemeanor petit larceny charges.
As News 12 reported, a jury found Greene guilty in January of grand larceny for stealing from drivers, but acquitted him of more serious hate crime charges.
A new indictment involved similar accusations from other drivers.
Greene is currently serving one to three years in state prison. When he is sentenced on the new charges, Greene is expected to serve his new sentence concurrently.
