Despite the coronavirus pandemic, one Suffolk high school is keeping a yearly tradition going.
To celebrate graduation, Connetquot High School seniors would normally walk through the halls of their old elementary school in caps and gowns, but this year was different.
Instead the seniors stood on the sidewalk outside as their former teachers drove past.
The students and their families say they wanted to do something special for the educators.
Their former teachers were already doing a drive-by celebration for younger students when they were surprised with the familiar faces.
