Coastal communities face flooding threat following nor'easter
There are still concerns for coastal communities on Saturday following Friday's ferocious nor'easter.
Coastal communities like Freeport had canals and bays flood into the street Friday around 9 a.m. due to high tide.
In Port Jefferson, village crews were out Saturday morning to help clear some of the debris from streets and drains left over from Friday’s storm.
Streets in Babylon Village on Suffolk's South Shore started to flood around 11 a.m. near Shore Road.
A coastal flood warning is in effect tonight from 9 p.m. until 4 a.m. Sunday.
