Trains are back on track tonight after another rough morning commute.
Chopper 12 was overhead this morning as crews fixed signal problems east of Jamaica. Those signal issues caused delays during the morning rush.
The signal problems followed Thursday night's chaotic commute. Power problems knocked out service on 12 of 21 tracks at Penn Station.
The situation for commuters will not get easier in the coming weeks when the "summer of hell" gets underway. Amtrak plans to close tracks for upgrades, which the MTA warns will lead to even more delays and cancellations.
Some say they are taking the advice of Gov. Cuomo and the MTA and avoiding Penn Station altogether in the coming weeks.
