The Coast Guard says it has recovered the body of a boater who went missing on the Long Island Sound.
The body of Ciro Stellges, 59, was found near Duck Pond Point in Suffolk.
Stellges called police Sunday afternoon saying he was taking on water in the Long Island Sound. His body was found around 8 a.m. this morning.
In total, rescue crews searched for more than 19 hours and covered more than 400 square miles.
The Coast Guard released a statement saying they offer "deepest condolences to the family members and friends affected by the tragedy."
