Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Hilda Estevez says mild and quiet weather is expected across Long Island until Wednesday.
TODAY: After some morning fog, sun gives way to clouds. Highs around 50. Lows down to 44 with some drizzle possible late.
WEDNESDAY: Scattered showers/drizzle for the first half, with steadier rain likely by the evening. Highs jump to 54. Lows near 45.
THURSDAY: Lingering morning showers, then cloudy and warm. Highs surge to the upper 50s. Lows near 47.
FRIDAY: Unsettled with an isolated shower or two possible. Temps hover around 45, falling into the 30s.
SATURDAY: Lingering morning shower, then partly cloudy and cold. Highs near 40. Lows around 30.
SUNDAY - NEW YEAR'S EVE: More sunshine, cold. Highs in the upper 30s. Lows in the upper 20s.
