Closing arguments will begin Tuesday in the federal corruption trial of former Nassau County Executive Ed Mangano, his wife Linda and former Oyster Bay Town Supervisor John Venditto.
The prosecution rested its case this morning, as the trial hit its 10th week.
Attorneys for the three defendants each declined to call any witnesses to the stand.
The judge has dismissed a variety of acquittal motions put forth by the defense.
Prosecutors will deliver their closing argument beginning at 9 a.m.
