Christopher Torres remains in critical condition following fatal Yaphank crash

Officials say the driver of a vehicle involved in a deadly Yaphank crash remains in critical condition. Christopher Torres' parents tell Newsday their son is in a coma and in critical condition.

Officials say the driver of a vehicle involved in a deadly Yaphank crash remains in critical condition.

Christopher Torres' parents tell Newsday their son is in a coma and in critical condition.

Torres' fiancée, Kaitlyn Dougherty, 22, died when the car lost control on the way to a party.

Dougherty died when Torres crossed into oncoming traffic and hit two other cars.

Torres' family says the Nesconset man has no idea his fiancée died.

The other drivers involved in the crash were not hurt.
