The halls of Sayville High School are decked with holiday lights, balloons and even a table full of presents as part of a holiday party for underprivileged children.

The group Christmas Magic has planned the holiday parties for the past eight years for the children. The evening is made possible by the work of 250 volunteers.

"Unfortunately, we have a lot of kids living in shelters; so this is a big deal for us to be able to deliver some happiness at this time of year," says Charlie Russo, one of Christmas Magic's founders.

During the party, each child receives a hot meal, a toy and a warm, winter coat.
