A Brooklyn man who strangled a fellow inmate at Nassau County Jail was sentenced today.
Charles Creekmur received a nine-year prison sentence for the death of Antwan Brown in 2012.
Creekmur's attorney says his client acted in self-defense after being jumped by several inmates.
Antwan Brown was in prison after pleading guilty to attempted assault of a police officer.
