A Centereach man has been found guilty of beating his fiancee's 90-year-old grandmother to death.
A judge returned the verdict on the second-degree murder charge Tuesday against 24-year-old Robert Waters.
Prosecutors say Waters killed Florence Troiani when he slammed her head into the railing of her bed in 2011.
Waters claimed that an epileptic seizure caused him to beat her.
