A former worker at the state run Centereach Intermediate Care Facility group home is accused of tying up a disabled patient.
Officials say Andrew Hatcher, of Brooklyn, allegedly used a sheet to tie a resident to a bed at the facility.
According to officials, Hatcher ignored his obligation to check on the woman every 15 minutes and instead ignored her all night long.
If convicted, Hatcher faces up to four years in prison.
