? A Center Moriches man was arrested by U.S. Marshals Tuesday and accused of trying to poison his wife.
Police say they began searching for David Steeves after his wife, Maureen, fell ill on Oct. 18. David Steeves, 43, is charged with second-degree attempted murder.
Steeves is accused of spiking his wife's coffee with cyanide.
Maureen Steeves is hospitalized in grave condition. Police say she is not expected to live.
Detectives say David Steeves and the couple's two sons traveled to Manchester, England just days after the woman was hospitalized. They then headed to Orlando.
Marshals were able to finally catch up with Steeves when he flew back into Kennedy Airport.
The couple's children are now in the care of social services.
