There are
now more than 50 U.S. cases of a contagious
coronavirus variant first discovered in the
United Kingdom, according to the CDC.
New data says at least 52 cases have been found in the U.S., including 26 cases in
California and 22 cases in Florida.
There is
also at least one case in Saratoga Springs, New York.
CDC
officials say the variant appears to spread more easily, but there's no
evidence that it's any more deadly.
