4h agoA 49-year-old man has died after his SUV crashed into a home in Baldwin, according to police.
Surveillance video shows the crash happening at around 11:30 p.m. Thursday on Grand Terrace Avenue.
The SUV plowed through a fence and damaged the front stoop.
The homeowner says the impact shook the entire house.
Nobody inside the home was hurt.
Neighbors say the street is dangerous, with cars speeding at all hours.
A Town of Hempstead spokesperson says a traffic engineer will be sent to the area some time next week.
