A car has slammed into a house near the corner of Milburn and Brooklyn avenues just north of Sunrise Highway and the LIRR tracks in Baldwin.
Officials say the crash has caused a gas leak.
There may be injuries at the scene, but there is no official word yet.
National Grid says the gas was turned off and the area has been made safe.
