The West Hempstead community came together Sunday to support the Stop & Shop where a fatal shooting took place last month.
Ray Wishropp, 49, was killed after police say former employee Gabriel DeWitt Wilson came into the grocery store with a gun.
Police say two other people were shot as well in the store but survived.
More than 100 cars participated in a parade alongside the store on Hempstead Turnpike.
Organizers say members of Wishropp's family were in attendance. News 12 is told they are still grieving.
As tribute, community members and store employees joined together and released paper lanterns. Police say the car parade lasted for about 30 minutes in front of the store.
