A car parade was held in honor of a Nassau teacher who is battling cancer.

Loved ones and colleagues showed support for Mary Malloy who was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer in September.
Malloy is a teacher with the Baldwin Union Free School District, and is retiring at the end of the week.
"She is a wonderful, wonderful lady," says administrative assistant Jane Hayes. "She is the pride and joy of Baldwin. She is a really special lady. She is giving, generous, sweet and loving."
Malloy has been with the district for about 45 years.
