A car crashed into a scaffolding head-on early Sunday morning in Mount Hope, according to authorities.

Fire officials say the collision occurred just after 3 a.m. at the intersection of Grand Concourse and Tremont Avenue.

The vehicle launched onto the sidewalk, leaving a pile of debris at the scene.

No injuries were reported.

It was not immediately clear what caused the car to crash.
