Police say one person was injured after a car crashed into a utility pole in Wantagh.
The incident happened around 2:15 a.m. on Sunrise Highway.
The crash closed the westbound lane in the area of Wantagh Avenue for hours. It has since reopened.
There is no word on what caused the crash.
