Capacity increased to 12,000 fans at the Coliseum for playoff series against Boston

The team will now allow 12,000 fans at the Coliseum for its series against Boston. The additional seats will primarily be available in fully vaccinated sections.

You can expect more fans at the 'Old Barn' for Round 2 of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
The team will now allow 12,000 fans at the Coliseum for its series against Boston. The additional seats will primarily be available in fully vaccinated sections.
Nassau County Executive Laura Curran issued a statement saying, "It's about to get loud on the Island. I've been pushing hard to make this possible, and I'm thrilled that more fans will be able to rock 'The Barn' one last time."
Islanders' president and GM Lou Lamoriello tweeted out a letter Friday saying fans made a huge difference in Round 1 against the Penguins.
Lamoriello says the goal is to create the "loudest possible atmosphere" in the National Hockey League.  
The Islanders take on the Bruins in Boston Saturday at 8 p.m.
