Former President Bill Clinton was on Long Island Sunday to stump for his wife Hillary's campaign. He spoke to voters at the Antioch Baptist Cathedral in Hempstead to a standing ovation.
The former president encouraged the crowd to vote for Hillary Clinton because he said she would create jobs, tackle college debt and reduce the prison population.
A few miles away in Garden City, volunteers were hard at work trying to spread the message of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders. His supporters were making phone calls and knocking on doors to encourage people to go out and vote on Primary Day.
On the Republican side, Donald Trump spoke at a GOP brunch in Staten Island on Sunday, and Ohio Gov. John Kasich visited a Nassau synagogue on Saturday.
