Fire officials responded to a fire at a strip mall in Cedarhurst this morning.
Nassau police say officers responded to an alarm going off around 2:30 a.m. at one of the businesses on Central Avenue. Nineteen fire departments responded to the call.
The fire tore through all five businesses, which include a cleaners, Mike's Burgers and Ezra pharmacy. All of the businesses are now boarded up.
Police say an employee of the pharmacy helped first responders get inside the building and easily access the basement of one of the businesses where the fire was burning.
No one was hurt.
Investigators are still trying to determine how the fire started.
