A quick moving brush fire closed down a section of Sunrise Highway in Brookhaven Saturday.
About six fire departments responded to the scene near the Carman?s River and Southhaven Park. The highway was closed in both directions west of exit 57 at about 3:30 p.m. The smoke from the brush fire could be seen for miles.
Sunrise Highway was finally reopened at 5:45 p.m.
