Police are searching for the gunman who killed a Brooklyn resident in West Babylon early Saturday morning.
Suffolk police say they received several reports of shots fired on Kellum Street at around 4 a.m. Officers who arrived on the scene found a man lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim, identified as 32-year-old Michael Sinclair, was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after.
Neighbors say they cannot comprehend what may have brought gun violence to their usually quiet neighborhood.
