A man has admitted to sexually abusing his stepdaughters in Suffolk County.

The Brookhaven man pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual conduct against a child on Thursday.

The 37-year-old now faces 30 years in prison at his sentencing next month.

His name is being kept confidential to protect the identities of the victims.

The girls’ mother found videos of the abuse on an iPad, according to prosecutors.

That abuse began when the victims were 10 and 12 years old.

“This defendant used his role as the stepfather of these children not to protect and nurture them, but to prey upon them,” said District Attorney Ray Tierney.
