yesterdayA Bronx man has been indicted in a 2017 Mount Vernon cold case.
Authorities say Edmund Pennil ran over 41-year-old Tremayne Williams with his SUV on East Third Street.
Pennil was arrested in the Bronx last November.
Pennil was indicted on manslaughter charges and leaving the scene of an accident without reporting a death.
