Bridgeport Regional Business Council touts city's places to visit as summer tourism kicks off

The Bridgeport Regional Business Council celebrated all the city has to offer as the summer season is underway.
The group's annual luncheon on Tuesday highlighted the growing list of "things to do" in Bridgeport.
Council leaders say Bridgeport's Amphitheater, Beardsley Zoo, and Barnum Museum continue to attract investors from the arts community.
"And that's exactly what we have here in the Bridgeport region. We're seeing it with folks in the arts community looking to invest in greater Bridgeport because it is a thriving artist community, there's a lot of culture here, and these are things that we should continue to celebrate," said Dan Onofrio, of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council.
