A bridge is being renamed to honor a Nassau County officer who was killed in the line of duty.
Gov. Andrew Cuomo has signed legislation to rename a bridge on Jericho Turnpike after Babylon's own Arthur Lopez.
The bridge spans the Cross Island Parkway near exit 27E in Bellerose.
The location is on the Nassau-Queens border near the spot where Lopez was shot and killed by Darrell Fuller in 2012.
Fuller has been sentenced to life in prison.
