There's a new coffee shop open in Port Jefferson Station just for students and staff at Comsewogue High School.

The Brew Crew Cafe is where students in the life skills program get job experience without leaving the classroom.

Students handle everything from taking orders, making drinks, handling money and ordering products that run out, like coffee cups..

The high schoolers have been getting training at local restaurants to prepare for opening.

The goal of the Brew Crew Cafe is to add experience to resumes to enhance opportunities for future employment.

The job also gives students the opportunity to interact with their classmates during deliveries, which they make personally to teachers in their classrooms.
